Rear sight is broken but supplied with a sling and a bayonet with sheath.
Wood shows scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the entire stock. There is a chip at the heel of the stock by butt plate. There smaller chips by hammer, and few on the right side. Finish is lightly worn in areas, and there are no additional markings on stock that can be seen.
Metal shows lots of patina, light pits, rust throughout, action works, on the lock plate there is a Crown imprint behind the hammer and 1862 and Tower imprinted in front of hammer. Other markings are on left side of barrel by breech. No markings can be seen on the butt plate.
Bayonet shows the numbers 24 and 124 below it. Also on the elbow area of the bayonet a Crown with letter E and number 30 can be seen. Bayonet blade length is 17". There is rust, pits, patina throughout the bayonet. Sheath shows no markings.
Sling is leather is aged however possible not be original to firearm.
Bore condition from muzzle shows surface rust and very light pitting; however, overall condition of bore is unknown.
Gun has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. Action possibly works correctly to the best of our knowledge. We do not clean guns and recommend a thorough cleaning before use.
