The consignor has asked us to add the following information: Early British Percussion Coach Gun Circa 1826. Great gun for Brush County in hunting wild boar or black bear or little critters like rabbits! Featuring a single shot 10 ga.X 27 ½ barrel with a checkered Half Walnut butt looks to be” burled”. It was most likely a “Coach Gun” in its day. The steel ramrod looks to be original & the trigger guard size was to accommodate large gloves. This is a real piece of English History! Transition from flintlock to percussion cap technology in 1805 by John Forsyth marked a significant leap in firearm technology, enhancing reliability, speed of loading, and weather resistance. This had profound effects on military tactics, hunting efficiency, and the development of more advanced firearm designs.

Firearm has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. All firearms and firearm parts are sold “As Is”. We do not clean firearm and recommend a thorough cleaning before use.
