Wood stock shows some light scratches, scuffs, light dings; condition is very good for age.
Metal finish shows patina, finish wear, light scratches, scuffs, light pitting and rust around the ignition area; condition is good for age.
Bore shows rust when viewed from the muzzle; over all condition is unknown.

The consignor has asked us to add the following information: British Single Percussion Coach Gun Circa 1840. This Percussion Coach Gun came straight from Britain because that is where I purchased it in Warwick (1984). 17 ga. (.650 Bore) X 24 “ barrel. In the shop it was marked "landed gentry” These individuals, many of whom were also “titled noblemen”, held significant wealth and influence through their control of land and agricultural production. Walnut stock polished furniture lock has engraved “Patent”.

Firearm has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. All firearms and firearm parts are sold “As Is”. We do not clean firearm and recommend a thorough cleaning before use.
