Wood stock shows a crack on either side of the grip section, there are chips in the forearm section, there are also small cracks by the lock plates on either side, some scratches and scuffs, few light dents. Condition is good for age.
Metal shows finish wear, patina, some rust near the percussion nipple area, some tarnish spots in various areas; condition is good for age.
Bores show light pits; condition is good for age for both bores.
The consignor has asked us to add the following information: Mid West Belgium SXS Coach Gun Circa 1840. From our research it looks to be used in the mid-west from what we could tell .Purchased in Nevada in 1967 from a local historian older than dirt located in a small town called “STAGECOACH”. He said it was used by the Wells Fargo Group sometime when they were running stage coaches.
Gun has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. All guns are sold “As Is”. We do not clean guns and recommend a thorough cleaning before use.

Your items are available for pickup on the Wednesday following the sale for a period of two weeks. Please email cs@landsboroughauctions.com to make alternate arrangements.
Storage fees:

Shipping Details:
A prerequisite of our auction is to select your preference to pick up or have items shipped. We will honour your selection. Items will be shipped together when possible. Shipping charges are determined after items have been packaged and weighed. There will be $15.00 per package handling charge. Specific items cannot be or will not be shipped (for example black powder or very large or expensive-to-ship items).
All items are sent by Canada Post or Purolator Courier depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required.
We ship ammunition ONLY within Canada. Ammunition and firearms are shipped separately.
Dangerous goods (ammunition, powder, muzzle loading ignition, primers and compressed gases) will be shipped by Purolator. We require a physical address as UPS/Purolator do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please note we can only use Purolator for ammo and their costs will be more expensive than in the past. Purolator and UPS are the only option for shipping ammunition in Canada.

You have sole responsibility for your purchases. You and or your importing FFL will be required to file paperwork with BATF in order to import an item. Please check with your FFL and/or BATF regarding import of specific items. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported into the USA. Note that any items that you have purchased but are deemed “not importable/exportable” will be sold at our next available auction. Our regular commission charges apply to the resale of your items.

In Canada, a valid P.A.L. (possession and acquisition license) is required to acquire firearms and ammunition. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased within Canada. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on auction day. USA and International bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases and a $40.00 administrative fee is applied on all firearms sales. If purchased items cannot be imported, the items will be sold at the next available auction. Consignment commissions are applicable on the resale.
