The fluted French walnut grips have some marks and a crack on each side. The metal is nicely engraved and showing wear on the barrel, the top of barrel has some light pitting. The bore is good with a bit of light pitting. The gun shoots using round ball and a 6mm Flobert blank, the barrel won't lock in the closed position. The antique wooden parlor box measures 18"l x 9.75"w x 4"h outside. The box has an 11" crack on top as well as other cracks and chips on the sides and back as shown in the pictures, the box has a key and does lock and open as it should. The box contains, antique Flinch card game with some instructions, Happy Dutch Railways a Railway/quartet game/edition of the Nederl Railway, deck of U.S. Playing Card Co. Congress 606 cards with a fox hunting scene, Celluloid poker dice in original box, small blank note book, small jack knife, antique glasses in a leather case, small oil bottle, 68 antique/vintage betting chips, 3 different sized sets of antique/vintage dice, antique/vintage cribbage set with pegs, cleaning rod, 33 percussion caps in cardboard container (not to be used with this gun), round wooden container with 14 pieces of roughly 6.75mm round ball. The box has the name Wm. E. Pierce, Catskill N.Y. on the red velvet on the inside of the lid.
Gun has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. Action works correctly to the best of our knowledge. We do not clean guns and recommend a thorough cleaning before use.

Your items are available for pickup on the Wednesday following the sale for a period of two weeks. Please email cs@landsboroughauctions.com to make alternate arrangements.

A $5.00 per item per day will be charged on items not picked up beyond the two-week period following our auction.
Shipping Details:
A prerequisite of our auction is to select your preference to pick up or have items shipped. We will honour your selection. Items will be shipped together when possible. Shipping charges are determined after items have been packaged and weighed. There will be $15.00 per package handling charge. Specific items cannot be or will not be shipped (for example black powder or very large or expensive-to-ship items).
All items are sent by Canada Post or Purolator Courier depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required.
We ship ammunition ONLY within Canada. Ammunition and firearms are shipped separately.
Dangerous goods (ammunition, powder, muzzle loading ignition, primers and compressed gases) will be shipped by Purolator. We require a physical address as Purolator does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please note we can only use Purolator for ammo and their costs will be more expensive than in the past. Purolator is the only option for shipping ammunition. Insurance cost will be charged and calculated at $2.90 per $100, so $1-$100 is $2.90, $101-$200 is $5.70, $201-$300 is $8.70 and so forth. Costs for shipping are processed on your credit card through the iCollector site.

Auction sales will be charged to Visa or Mastercard. NOTE TO ALL BUYERS: All purchases will be made in CAD (Canadian Dollars) currency. All sales are final at the drop of the hammer. All items purchased by bidders will be charged to their Visa or Mastercard at the conclusion of the auction through the iCollector site. If shipping is required for the purchases, a second charge will occur the day the item has been shipped.

In Canada, a valid P.A.L. (possession and acquisition license) is required to acquire firearms and ammunition. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased within Canada. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on auction day. USA and International bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases and a $40.00 administrative fee is applied on all firearms sales. If purchased items cannot be imported, the items will be sold at the next available auction. Consignment commissions are applicable on the resale. Please note that we do not ship ammunition outside Canada.
