Potsdam Prussian Musket that was converted from Flintlock to Percussion and imported for use in the American Civil War. The rifle has 3 bands, all bands have markings, there is a emblem with an American Eagle on the top area of the grip. Barrel, side plate, trigger guard, butt plate, wood stock all show some sort of factory markings.
Wood stock shows a small chip on left side of forearm, a chip on left side of upper tang and a small chip at the rear of the upper tang, there is also a small chip at the rear-right of stock. There are scratches, dents, light finish wear in areas. Condition is very good for age.
Metal finish shows patina spots, light rust spots, fine pitting, scratches, scuffs, finish wear in various areas throughout. Action works. Condition is very good for age.
Bore is clean with very good rifling. Condition is very good for age.
