Consignor states: This rifle was used at General Brock's Queenstown Heights Battle and was issued to Gen. Brock's 49th Regiment foot soldiers. Regiment marks stamped on barrel. Rifle origin from "Niagara On The Lake" area. A very rare piece of Canadian history from the war on Oct 12 1812.

Wood stock shows dents, scratches and scuffs in various areas throughout. There are few repairs, there are cracks in the following areas: behind the top part of grip, a crack/break on either side of the trigger area, a repair spot in the forearm, a chip in the forearm; condition is fair for age.
Metal shows small pits in various areas, dents, scratches, scuffs, patina; condition is good for age.
