Wood stock shows scratches, scuffs, light dent, few tiny chips; condition is fair.
Metal shows patina, finish wear, light pitting on receiver, light dents; condition is good.
Bore is dark grey with pitting, though rifling can be seen; condition is less than fair.
The consignor has asked us to add the following information: The reason I'm so interested in the little Stevens rifles is simply to trace the historical use of the guns. For example, I have found that the Little Scout 14 1/2 was used extensively in Canada and the Alaskan Yukon, way back when, by fur trappers. The little gun weighed only a couple of pounds, and had an 18" barrel -- making it handy and light weight. The .22 long rifle cartridge was also just right for killing animals caught in a trap. Many years ago in 1926 my great grand mother gave my father his first gun at the age of 6 my father gave it to me at the same age .Dad taught me to hunt at the same age that his grandfather taught him 6.

Firearm has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. All firearms and firearm parts are sold “As Is”. We do not clean firearm and recommend a thorough cleaning before use. You Must send us copies of front and back of your PAL and Driver’s License if you are having your Restricted/Non-Restricted firearms shipped to you.

Your items are available for pickup on the Wednesday following the sale for a period of two weeks. Please email cs@landsboroughauctions.com to make alternate arrangements.
Storage fees:

Shipping Details:
A prerequisite of our auction is to select your preference to pick up or have items shipped. We will honour your selection. Items will be shipped together when possible. Shipping charges are determined after items have been packaged and weighed. There will be $15.00 per package handling charge. Specific items cannot be or will not be shipped (for example black powder or very large or expensive-to-ship items).
All items are sent by Canada Post or Purolator Courier depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required.
We ship ammunition ONLY within Canada. Ammunition and firearms are shipped separately.
Dangerous goods (ammunition, powder, muzzle loading ignition, primers and compressed gases) will be shipped by Purolator. We require a physical address as UPS/Purolator do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please note we can only use Purolator for ammo and their costs will be more expensive than in the past. Purolator and UPS are the only option for shipping ammunition in Canada.

You have sole responsibility for your purchases. You and or your importing FFL will be required to file paperwork with BATF in order to import an item. Note that any items that you have purchased but are deemed “not importable/exportable” will be sold at our next available auction. Our regular commission charges apply to the resale of your items.

In Canada, a valid P.A.L. (possession and acquisition license) is required to acquire firearms and ammunition. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased within Canada. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on auction day. USA and International bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases and a $40.00 administrative fee is applied on all firearms sales. If purchased items cannot be imported, the items will be sold at the next available auction. Consignment commissions are applicable on the resale.
